About Edit:
Edit is woven in a hopsack structure, one of the oldest and most direct weave constructions in textile history. Two weft threads crossing two warp threads in a simple over-under pattern creates an open, basket-like surface that is characteristically tactile and warm. In wool, this produces a fabric with a natural give, a surface that diffuses light rather than directing it, and a breathability well suited to upholstery applications where comfort over extended contact matters.
Edit is part of a two-fabric material system with Draft, the companion twill weave from the same collection. Both fabrics share the same eight-yarn palette, meaning they can be specified together across a single project with full tonal coherence. The structural contrast is Edit’s open hopsack against Draft’s dense twill, is a design tool, not a coordination challenge.
